In the aftermath of a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft crashing into a building at Milestone School and College in Uttara, Dhaka, parents and relatives have gathered at the campus, anxiously searching for their children. Some parents are still unable to locate their children following the incident.
Eyewitnesses reported that the crash occurred shortly before 1:30 PM on Monday, July 21, 2025, at the entrance of a two-story building at Milestone School, igniting a fire immediately upon impact. The Fire Service has confirmed one fatality so far, with several others injured, though the exact number remains unclear. Victims with burn injuries are being rushed to the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute, with 28 individuals admitted by 3:30 PM. Mahim Hasan Siam, a 12th-grade student and eyewitness, told that the aircraft crashed in front of the Project-2 building, which has 16 classrooms across two floors and four teachers’ rooms. The building hosted classes for primary students from grades one to five. The aircraft struck near the classrooms of third and fourth graders, where classes were ongoing. The crash occurred after the aircraft hit the Project-7 building, causing a fuel leakage, before crashing into the Project-2 building.
