6 Students Injured in Dhaka College-City College Clash

In a clash between students of Dhaka College and City College at the Science Laboratory intersection in the capital, six students were injured. The incident occurred between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM on Thursday, August 21. The injured students were taken to Dhaka Medical College (DMC) Hospital, where they received treatment and were subsequently discharged.

The injured students are identified as Md. Jamil (21), a first-year honors student at Dhaka College; Md. Sabbir (22), a second-year economics student; Md. Tauhid Mahin (20), a first-year student; Fardin Hossain Hridoy (19), a science department student in class XII; Md. Nirab (19), a student; and Jobayer Hossain (20), a student.

Inspector Md. Faruk, in-charge of the DMC Hospital police camp, stated that six Dhaka College students were brought to the hospital in an injured condition in the afternoon. After receiving treatment in the emergency department, they were discharged. The matter has been reported to the concerned police station.
