New Delhi: Indian opposition leader and former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has been detained by the police. His sister, Priyanka Gandhi, a member of the Lok Sabha, was also detained alongside him.
The detentions took place during a protest in the capital city of Delhi over issues related to the neutrality of the Election Commission. According to a report by Indian news outlet NDTV on Monday, August 11, the police detained them along with other leaders during the demonstration.
