During a meeting with ministry officials on Thursday afternoon, he stated that Bangladesh has a bright future ahead, and it is crucial to take decisive steps now to seize upcoming opportunities. He called for integrity, dedication, and transparency to strengthen the country’s tourism sector.
He further mentioned that in order to boost Bangladesh as an attractive tourist destination, priority must be given to domestic tourism. This includes improving tourism spots, enhancing transportation facilities, and raising service quality, so that both local and international tourists feel encouraged to explore Bangladesh.
The meeting was chaired by Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry Secretary Nasrin Jahan, with officials from the ministry and affiliated organizations in attendance. Sheikh Bashiruddin recently assumed his advisory role for this ministry, along with holding advisory positions in the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Textiles and Jute.
