Khadeeja Akter, the head teacher of the school section at Milestone School and College, informed BBC Bangla that as of 9:30 PM on Wednesday, the families of three female students and two guardians reported them missing to the school authorities.
Earlier, in response to the warplane crash incident, Milestone authorities formed a six-member committee to compile a list, including names and addresses, to determine the exact number of injured, deceased, and missing students and others.
It is known that the investigation committee held multiple meetings throughout the day.
Meanwhile, the Health Ministry has stated that there are six unidentified bodies at the CMH morgue in Dhaka. Families with missing children or members from the incident have been requested by the ministry to visit the CID office in Malibagh to provide samples for DNA matching.
The ministry has assured that once samples are received, DNA matching will be conducted promptly to confirm identities.
