Thunderstorms Expected in Eight Regions

Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast thunderstorms and gusty winds in eight regions of the country by midnight on Saturday. These include Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, and Sylhet. Temporary squally winds moving west/northwest at speeds of 45-60 km/h may sweep across these areas, prompting authorities to issue cautionary signal No. 1 for river ports.  

Additionally, temperatures are expected to rise continuously over the next five days, although rainfall may persist in some areas.
